Vismaya is a Sanskrit word that means "surprise."
Hasta - A hand gesture (hasta) in Indian dance, sculpture,
and ritual in which the forearm and fingers point upward with the back of the
hand turned toward the spectator.
This hasta is used to express any kind of surprise, such as
amazement and astonishment.
