Vidyadhara is a Sanskrit word that means "wisdom-bearer."
These are semidivine creatures who are Earthly rather than celestial.
The Vidyadharas are said to reside in the Himalayas, and are
so often connected with the deity Shiva, whose residence is also considered to
be there.
Vidyadharas are typically kind to people and are commonly
linked with providing knowledge to those they care about (as their name says).
