Hinduism - What Is Udana?

One of the five physical "winds" responsible for fundamental body activities in traditional Indian physiology, the others being prana, apana, vyana, and samana.

The udana wind is said to live in the neck and to be the force that propels objects out of the mouth, most notably speech and music, but also burps and (probably) vomit.
