Tungabhadra River is a river in India, it is the Krishna River's major tributary, which originates in the Western Ghats in southern Karnataka and runs north and east toward the Krishna.

The most significant site on its banks is Hampi, the destroyed city that served as the Vijayanagar empire's capital.
