Trnavarta is one of the demon assassins despatched by Kamsa,
the demon-king of Mathura, to assassinate his nephew, the child-god Krishna,
according to its founding story.
Trnavarta is a whirlwind that lifts Krishna into the air,
but Krishna clings to him till he is blown away.
