Thirty-five
kilometres east of Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, is a temple town in the southern Indian
state of Tamil Nadu.
The town is most known for its massive temple dedicated to
the deity Shiva, which, like many other southern Indian temples, is placed in
the city's core and comprises a significant portion of the city.
