The Pindara River is a tributary of the Ganges in the
Himalayas.
The Pindara River runs west from the Pindari glacier,
eventually merging with the Alakananda River near Karnaprayag.
The Pindara, like all the Ganges' Himalayan tributaries, is
revered over its whole course, but this area is so rugged and little populated
that Karnaprayag is the river's sole notable location.
