Svastikasana is a yoga pose.
(“svastika-posture”) One of the sitting poses (asana)
mentioned in the Yoga Sutras' commentaries.
The right foot is put into the gap between the left thigh
and calf, while the left foot is entered into the area between the right thigh
and calf in this position (one of the feet is pointing upwards, and the other
down ward).
The picture of the svastika is evoked by the opposite
orientations of the feet and crossed legs, thus the name.
