The most recent of
the three Tamil epics, perhaps composed in the late sixth century.
The narrative follows Shivaga, a guy who excels in every
male skill, who earns a new lady for his harem with each new task, but
eventually gives up everything to become a Jain monk.
The Shivaga-Sindamani gives a helpful image of modern
southern Indian society, despite the story's apparent Jain leaning.
