Sacchidananda

Sanskrit compound term representing the three widely acknowledged aspects of the highest Brahman (according to certain Hindu traditions, the Ultimate Reality of the universe): existence (sat), awareness (chit), and happiness (ananda).

The sandhi or euphonic combination produces discrepancies between the separate words' forms and their forms in the compound.

The highest Brahman is regarded the Ultimate Reality underlying all things in various Hindu philosophical traditions, notably in the Advaita Vedanta school.

Despite the fact that Brahman is said to be devoid of specific features, these three qualities are seen to be inextricably linked to its fundamental existence.

It has the quality of being since it is the source of every other "being." Similarly, awareness serves as the source of all conscious cognition.

Finally, happiness arises from its ultimate and full completion.
