The term pujari means "one who does puja (worship)" in its most fundamental sense.
In principle, this term might apply to any worshiper, but in
practice, it has a more limited connotation.
It generally refers to a guy who earns his living by
conducting religious rites, either as a temple priest or as a religious
"technician" hired to execute ceremonies for others.
