Parashuram Jayanti is a festival commemorating the birth of Vishnu's sixth incarnation, Parashuram.
On the third day of the brilliant (waxing) half of the lunar
month of Baisakh (April–May), the same day as the Akshaya Trtiya celebration,
this takes place.
