annihilation") Nirriti is a deity and Goddess personifying all the terrible parts
of existence in the Vedas, the oldest and most authoritative Hindu holy
literature.
Nirriti's personality isn't well-defined since she's only
mentioned a few times; the hymns that do reference her typically express hope
that she'll stay away and keep the speakers safe from calamity.
