Hinduism - What Is Mandara In Hindu Mythology?

Mandara is the name of a holy mountain in Hindu mythology where the minor deity Kubera and his court live.

Mount Mandara is recognized as the churning stick used to churn the ocean of milk in the story of the Tortoise avatar (the mountain's enormous size makes it an efficient churn).
