In Hindu mythology, Ugrasena is the ruler of Mathura and the
divinity Krishna's grandfather.
Ugrasena is replaced by the villainous Kamsa, who is
mistakenly thought to be Ugrasena's son but is not.
According to tradition, Kamsa is the offspring of a demon
who has acquired Ugrasena's shape and had sexual relations with Ugrasena's wife
while in this incarnation.
