In Hindu mythology, Jabali is a prominent sage who is the son of the sage Vishvamitra.
Despite his biological beginnings, Jabali ultimately gets
affiliated with the sage Vasishtha, his father's worst adversary.
Jabali joins Vasishtha's party and becomes one of King
Dasharatha's counsellors, the father of the god-king Rama in the epic Ramayana.
