Hinduism - What Is A Karandamakuta?

(“basket-crown”) A little crown in the form of a basket that stands out for its lack of embellishment.

The karan damakuta is a headdress worn by a minor god in Hindu iconography.

The kirita makuta worn by the deity Vishnu, on the other hand, is considerably bigger and more intricately decorated, in line with his stature as one of Hindu religious life's most important deities.
