Hinduism - Where Is The Govardhan Math(Mutt)?

The Sharada math, Shringeri math, and Jyotir math are the other three mathematics or holy places said to have been established by the great scholar Shankaracharya.

These four holy places are each associated with one of the Indian subcontinent's four geographical corners; the Govardhan math is located in the eastern quarter, near the city of Puri on the Bay of Bengal's coasts.

The Dashanami Sanyasis, the most prominent Hindu ascetic order, is said to have been founded by Shankaracharya.

Dashanami ("ten names") ascetics are Shiva followers (bhakta) who are separated into 10 divisions, each with its own name.

Each of the four largest organizational groups—Anandawara, Bhogawara, Bhuriwara, and Kitawara—has two or three of the 10 divisions and is affiliated with one of the four holy centers.

The Bhogawara group is related with the Govardhan math.
