(ca. late
16th c.) Poet, singer, and devotee (bhakta) of the Hindu god Krishna who
founded the Haridasis sect.
Haridasa was the tutor of Tansen, the perfect musician at
the court of the Moghul emperor Akbar, according to legend.
The majority of Haridasa's songs are about Radha and
Krishna's love.
