Jyeshth is the third
month of the lunar year, generally occurring in May–June, according to the
lunar calendar, which is used to calculate most Hindu religious events.
This month is considered the start of the hot season: This
month's weather is blistering hot and bone dry.
Achala Ekadashi, Savitri Puja, Ganga Dashahara, and Nirjala
Ekadashi are the most important festivals of Jyeshth.
