Deshnok is situated in Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Bikaner is a small hamlet in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, around 20 miles south of the city of Bikaner.
Deshnok is known for the goddess Karni Mata's temple, where tens of thousands of rats have been granted holy status and are revered as deities, believing that they are Karni Mata's offspring.
