Bhramari means "circling." The primordial Goddess in her most powerful form.
Bhramari takes on human form to fight the demon Aruna, who is attempting to violate the virginity of the gods' spouses in his arrogance.
- They beg the Goddess for assistance, and she responds by killing the demon and removing the danger in her guise as Bhramari.
- On the eighth night of Navaratri, a nine-day celebration in which one goddess is appeased each night, Bhramari is adored.
