Baka (also known as Baka Asura or Bakasura) is a monster slain by the deity Krishna during Krishna's boyhood in Braj, according to Hindu legend.
- Baka is one of the demon assassins sent by Krishna's evil uncle, Kamsa, to assassinate the deity.
- He appears in Braj as a gigantic crane (baka) and swallows Krishna and his friends, but he is destroyed when Krishna grows so large in Baka's stomach that the demon explodes.
