Baisakh is the second month of the lunar year, typically occurring between April and May, according to the lunar calendar used to calculate most Hindu religious festivals.
- Although this is considered one of the spring months, the weather in northern India is starting to warm up at this time, particularly during the day.
- Shitalashtami, Baruthani Ekadashi, Parashuram Jayanti, Narasimha Jayanti, Baisakhi, Mohini Ekadashi, and Buddha Purnima are the main Baisakh festivals.
