At the foot of the spinal column is the Muladhara Chakra. It
is located between the reproductory organ's root and the anus. It is located
just below the Kanda, at the intersection of the Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna
Nadis. The Muladhara Chakra is located two fingers above the anus and about two
fingers below the genitals, with a diameter of four fingers. Since the other
Chakras are above it, this is the Adhara Chakra (support). This Chakra houses
Kundalini, which provides strength and energy to all of the Chakras. As a
result, Muladhara or Adhara Chakra, which is the support of everything, is
called.
THE KUNDALINI AND THE MULADHARA
From this Chakra four important Nadis emanate which appear
as petals of a lotus. The subtle vibrations that are made by each Nadi are
represented by the Sanskrit letters: v:ö S:ö \:ö and s:ö (vaü, ÷aü, ùaü, and
saü.)
The Yoni in the Chakra's center is known as Kama, and it is
worshipped by Siddhas. Kundalini is latent here. This Chakra's Devata is
Ganesha. Below this Chakra are the seven underworlds: Atala, Vitala, Sutala,
Talatala, Rasatala, Mahatala, and Patala Lokas. This Chakra is associated with
Bhu Loka or Bhu-Mandal, the physical plane (earth region). Above this Chakra
are the Bhuvah, Svah or Svarga, Maha, Jana, Tapa, and Satya Lokas. The
Muladhara Chakra controls certain small Chakras in the limbs, which are
referred to as the underworlds.
The Yogi has overcome the Prithvi Tattva by penetrating this
Chakra by Prithvi Dharan. He is unconcerned with mortality on Earth. Prithvi is
a yellow-colored character. The ‘Bija' is the golden Tripura (fire, light, and
moon). The great energy (Param Tejas) that rests on the Muladhara Chakra and is
known as Svayambhu Linga is also known.
The golden area known as Kula is located near this Linga,
and Dakini is the presiding deity (Shakti). This Chakra contains Brahma
Granthi, or Brahma's knot. The Anahata and Ajna Chakras are home to Vishnu
Granthi and Rudra Granthi.
Muladhara Chakra's Bijamantra is l:ö (laü).
The wise Yogi who focuses and meditates on the Muladhara
Chakra learns everything there is to know about Kundalini and how to awaken it.
Kundalini gains Darduri Siddhi, the ability to rise from the earth, when he is
awoken. He has complete power of his breath, mind, and sperm. His Prana joins
the Brahma Nadi in the east. Many of his sins have been expunged. He learns
about the past, present, and future. He appreciates the natural bliss (Sahaja
Ananda).
